The CIS SCM-2M1 is a compact 2MP AI smart camera designed for embedded vision, robotics, machine vision, intelligent traffic, UAV/drone systems, medical imaging, surveillance, and industrial inspection applications. Featuring NXP Semiconductor’s i.MX 8M Plus application processor and a 1/2.6" global shutter CMOS sensor, the SCM-2M1 delivers reliable image capture with onboard processing capability for both rule-based vision tasks and edge AI workflows.
Built around the AR0234 color global shutter image sensor, the SCM-2M1 captures 1920 x 1200 resolution video at up to 30 fps. Global shutter performance helps reduce motion distortion, making this camera well suited for moving objects, automation lines, mobile robots, traffic monitoring, and high-speed inspection environments.
The integrated NXP i.MX 8M Plus processor enables smart camera functionality for object recognition, object tracking, edge AI inference, and embedded image processing.
