TL7051 Dual 3G-SDI / HD-SDI Interface for Block Cameras

The TL7051 Dual 3G/HD-SDI Interface is a cutting-edge solution designed to enhance digital video transmission for block cameras, supporting both 3G-SDI and HD-SDI output formats. This interface is engineered to connect seamlessly to the digital video interface (LVDS) of compatible block cameras, including models like Sony’s FCB-EV, FCB-EH, and other third-party cameras. By maintaining a fully digital signal path, the TL7051 eliminates analog-to-digital conversion, ensuring superior image quality without degradation.

Supporting multiple progressive and interlaced HDTV video formats, the TL7051 enables the transmission of high-definition video in resolutions up to 1080p, with refresh rates spanning from 60Hz down to 25Hz, depending on the camera block used. The TL7051 is fully compatible with a wide range of video standards, including 1080p (60Hz, 59.94Hz, 50Hz, 30Hz, 29.97Hz, 25Hz), 1080i (60Hz, 59.94Hz, 50Hz, 30Hz), and 720p (60Hz, 59.94Hz, 50Hz, 30Hz, 29.97Hz, 25Hz).

This device features dual 3G/HD-SDI outputs compliant with SMPTE424M and SMPTE292M standards, along with the ability to output analog HDTV YPbPr and CVBS video. The TL7051 ensures reliable and flexible operation with automatic detection of video input standards and robust serial control interfaces, including RS232, TTL level, and RS485 for comprehensive remote management. The module operates on a regulated DC supply of 8V to 12V, with built-in temperature monitoring and alarm functionality for added reliability in demanding environments.
