TV10 0070 Spec Sheet
The Twiga TV10 0070 multi-output video interface board converts LVDS video from compatible Tamron MP1010M-VC and MP3010M-EV camera modules into selectable HDMI, YPbPr analog HD, CVBS composite or Y/C analog SD video.
The compact board supports HDMI video through 1080p50/60, YPbPr analog component video through 1080p30 and NTSC or PAL standard-definition output. It also provides VISCA camera control through RS232 or 3.3V TTL serial communication, plus GPIO control for zoom, focus and image-freeze functions.
LVDS-to-HDMI and Analog Video Conversion
The TV10 0070 provides multiple output options for integrating compatible Tamron zoom block cameras into digital and analog video systems. It decodes the camera’s LVDS video signal and converts it into a selected HDMI, YPbPr, CVBS or Y/C output format.
HDMI output supports compatible HD formats from 720p50/60 through 1080p50/60 using 8-bit RGB encoding. For analog HD equipment, the YPbPr component output supports formats through 1080p30. CVBS composite and Y/C outputs provide NTSC or PAL video for standard-definition monitors, recorders, encoders and legacy video equipment.
Output mode is selected using onboard microswitches. The technical manual documents individual operating modes for HDMI, YPbPr and SD analog output, so these connections should be treated as selectable output options rather than assumed simultaneous outputs.
HDMI availability and supported video formats can depend on the connected camera and its output configuration. Confirm the selected camera model, LVDS format and receiving equipment before installation.

HDMI Video Output
The HDMI output carries the same compatible HD video format selected at the LVDS camera input, from 720p50/60 through 1080p50/60. Video is supplied using 8-bit RGB encoding.
Because HDMI availability is camera- and format-dependent, confirm that the selected Tamron camera configuration supplies a supported LVDS input format.
YPbPr Analog HD Output
The YPbPr component output provides a 1 Vp-p, 75-ohm analog HD signal. Supported YPbPr output formats extend from 720p50 through 1080p30. The analog video, serial TTL and power connections are provided through the board’s 10-way Molex connector.
CVBS and Y/C Analog SD Output
The TV10 0070 can convert compatible HD video into CVBS composite or Y/C standard-definition video at 1 Vp-p, 75 ohms. NTSC output is available with compatible 1080p29.97/30 or 1080p59.94/60 configurations. PAL output is available with 1080p25 or 1080p50 configurations.
Selectable aspect-ratio conversion allows 16:9 HD video to be adapted for a 4:3 SD output:
- Letterbox: Preserves the complete 16:9 image and adds horizontal bars above and below the picture.
- Crop: Preserves the image height while removing portions of the left and right sides.
- Squeeze: Fits the 16:9 image into the 4:3 SD frame, producing vertical elongation.
Approximate LVDS-to-analog SD delay is 40 ms for PAL and between 33 and 67 ms for NTSC, depending on the selected configuration.
VISCA and GPIO Camera Control
The connected Tamron camera can be controlled using Sony VISCA protocol through RS232 or 3.3V TTL serial communication. Supported baud rates include 9600, 19200, 38400 and 115200.
The GPIO interface provides grounded-contact control for:
- Zoom in and zoom out
- Automatic or manual focus selection
- Focus near and focus far
- Image freeze and freeze release

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between TV10 0070 and TV10 0071?
Both boards convert LVDS video from compatible Tamron camera modules into analog YPbPr, CVBS and Y/C video. The TV10 0070 additionally provides a selectable digital HDMI output through 1080p50/60.
Which Tamron cameras are compatible with TV10 0070?
The board is documented for the Tamron MP1010M-VC, MP1110 and MP3010 camera modules. This product page primarily targets the MP1010M-VC and MP3010M-EV configurations.
Can the board output HDMI at 1080p60?
Yes, the HDMI output supports compatible video formats through 1080p50/60. Availability depends on the connected camera and its selected LVDS output format.
What is the maximum YPbPr analog output?
The YPbPr component output supports compatible formats through 1080p30. The higher 1080p50/60 formats are available through HDMI rather than YPbPr.
Are HDMI and analog video output simultaneously?
The manufacturer’s manual documents HDMI, YPbPr and SD analog as separately selected output modes controlled by onboard microswitches. System designers should not assume simultaneous output from all connections.
Can the board connect to NTSC or PAL equipment?
Yes. It provides CVBS and Y/C analog SD output in NTSC or PAL format, with selectable letterbox, crop or squeeze conversion from a 16:9 HD image to a 4:3 SD frame.
How is the camera controlled?
The board supports VISCA serial control through RS232 or 3.3V TTL communication. GPIO inputs also provide direct control of zoom, focus and image-freeze functions.
