The Twiga TV20 0012 Blue Mamba Neo is a compact, wired IP video encoder and streaming interface designed for integration with LVDS zoom block cameras, including the Sony FCB-EV9520L, Sony FCB-EV9500L and Tamron MP3010M-EV.
Blue Mamba Neo converts the camera’s native LVDS video into a low-latency H.264 IP stream at resolutions up to 1080p30. It also provides a separate Micro HDMI 1.4a output through 1080p60 for local display, monitoring or recording.
With RTSP, RTP multicast, RTP MPEG2TS, ONVIF Profile S, local recording, snapshot capture, camera control and a browser-based configuration interface, TV20 0012 provides a flexible video-streaming platform for industrial, security, robotic and embedded imaging systems.
Wired H.264 IP Streaming for LVDS Block Cameras
The Blue Mamba Neo converts high-definition LVDS video from compatible Sony and Tamron zoom block cameras into compressed H.264 video for transmission over a wired Ethernet network. The module supports IP streaming through 1080p30 and offers selectable bitrates for balancing video quality, network bandwidth and latency.
Streaming options include RTSP, RTP multicast and RTP MPEG2TS. ONVIF Profile S compliance supports integration with compatible video-management and surveillance systems.
The Blue Mamba Neo is the wired version of the Mamba Neo platform. It provides 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connectivity through an onboard RJ45 connector or remote Ethernet connection. Wi-Fi hardware is not included on TV20 0012.
Separate HDMI Output Through 1080p60
In addition to the H.264 IP stream, the board provides a Micro HDMI 1.4a output for connecting a local monitor, recorder or video-capture device. HDMI output supports resolutions through 1920 × 1080 at 60 fps.
The HDMI specification should not be confused with the encoded IP-stream specification: HDMI output supports up to 1080p60, while H.264 IP encoding and streaming support up to 1080p30.

The Blue Mamba Neo includes hardware-based H.264 encoding for real-time IP video transmission. The current manufacturer specification identifies H.264 Baseline Profile encoding at resolutions through 1080p30.

Video Inputs and Expansion

Camera and System Control
