FSDI2-16A Spec Sheet

The Z3 Technology FSDI2-16A is a compact dual 3G-SDI video encoder designed for low-latency video streaming, recording and SDI-to-IP applications.

It supports two 3G-SDI inputs with two SDI loop-through outputs, allowing video to be encoded while remaining available through passthrough. Supported codecs include H.265/HEVC, H.264 and MJPEG at resolutions up to 1080p60.

Streaming and Recording

The FSDI2 supports simultaneous video streaming and recording. Output options include RTP, RTSP, MPEG-2 TS, MP4, RTMP, RTMPS and SRT, with multicast and unicast support.

Recording can be saved to USB, Micro-SD or a network file system.

KLV Metadata and STANAG 4609

For military, defense and ISR applications, the FSDI2 supports KLV metadata through SDI or serial interfaces and is STANAG 4609 compliant. It also supports MISB 0601 and MISB 0604.

Flexible Integration

The encoder can be configured and controlled through a web GUI, HTTP/HTTPS API, ONVIF, SSH or serial interfaces. Connectivity includes Gigabit Ethernet, RS-485, RS-422 and RS-232.
